Northumbrian Sauna operates a wood-fired sauna at Higham Lakes, Ponteland, on the outskirts of Newcastle upon Tyne. Sessions run as guided contrast therapy — sauna at 100°C followed by a lake dip in a supervised, lifeguarded section of the lake. All sessions are led by Sauna Master Fenwick Ridley (Team GB Ice Swimming Captain), with multiple sauna tents and a trailer available for groups of up to 20+. Bookings are taken in advance via the operator's own website, with sessions from £20 per person.
