The Hot Rocks Sauna
Shores of Lough Neagh, Aghalee, Craigavon
The Hot Rocks Sauna is a hand-built Finnish wood-fired sauna situated on the shores of Lough Neagh at Gawley's Gate, Aghalee, beside The Gate Inn bar and restaurant. Sessions run from communal and private bookings through to guided sauna rituals led by a trained sauna master, with options including the Aufguss towel technique and traditional birch-whisk bathing. Cold contrast is available via a whiskey-barrel cold plunge or a direct swim in the lough. It operates on alternating weekends (Friday–Sunday) and suits those looking for an outdoor, nature-based sauna with structured ceremonial sessions.
