Roots & Rocks is a wood-fired outdoor sauna operating from a converted vintage horsebox, running sessions at two locations near Hebden Bridge: monthly pop-ups beside the pond at Gibson Mill in the Hardcastle Crags woodland, and weekly sessions at Mytholmroyd Community Centre. The sauna is set up in the traditional Finnish style — wood-fired, well-ventilated, and steamy — with cold water options including a shower, barrel, and vintage-style bath. Community and private hire sessions are available at both venues, with occasional travelling events such as sauna-and-dip days at Salford Quays.
