Red Kite Yurts is a family-run Scottish business based in Callander that handcrafts and supplies traditional yurt saunas, also offering trailer sauna conversions. Each yurt sauna is built with steam-bent larch rafters and Scottish wool felt insulation, heated by a Finnish log-burning stove reaching 90°C. Yurts are available for purchase or hire and can be deployed to festivals, estates, lochside sites, and private land across Scotland and beyond. Customers are encouraged to incorporate a cold-water plunge — river, loch, or tub — as part of the sauna experience.
