Barbossauna
Aberdeen Beach Esplanade
Barbossauna is a wood-fired sauna built inside a converted horsebox, permanently sited on the beachfront esplanade at North Square, Aberdeen, and open year-round. Founded in August 2023 by Brazilian-born Fabio Barbosa, the sauna seats up to nine on U-shaped benches and runs eucalyptus and mint-infused löyly from a wood-burning stove, with sea views through a front window. Sessions are booked by the hour at £13 per person, with private hire also available. Guests frequently pair the sauna with a dip in the North Sea directly outside.
